The connotations of the women are that she's quite dark, mysterious and dangerous as she holds things that kill easily. The bold writing shows the film is quite action-packed and almost in your face. The way she is lying and what she's wearing is seductive which relates to the pulp fiction magazines which featured a story around a girl and a gun.
